I love waking up first thing in the ::checks clock::: afternoon, and seeing in Yahoo news' headlines "MCCAIN AHEAD OF OBAMA IN POLLS BY THREE POINTS."
Never has an election enraged me to the point of wanting to smack a baby (not really).
Apparently half of the country is dying for Bush's third term.
Don't people realize that if we put all of our resources towards drilling for more oil, that you wouldn't even see a difference in the gas prices until 2030?? And that potentially putting that money towards renewable energy, promoting fuel efficient vehicles, and working with alternative fuel sources would produce results a lot sooner? I know people get off to the fact that McCain shits, bleeds, and worships oil, but we've been ignoring this whole energy crisis since the 70s. Let's continue to ignore it!
And apparently pro-life means strapping a gun to the youth of America and sending them to die. I love how a "maverick" like McCain jumped on the conformity train, and practically bent over backwards to give the Republican party access to his 'old glory.' In 2004, Kerry's ultimate criticism was that he "flip-flopped." McCain has flip-flopped more than a pair of humping elephant seals on a rocky beach.
Whatever. I'm making breakfast and preparing for my move to Finland.
